Summary: Ben doesn't care about Christmas and he shuns the present little Tim offers him. But on Christmas Eve Ben can't sleep. Then, a stranger appears who promises to help him if he will take up the stranger's challenge. Ben agrees, and so they set off on a night-time quest, which teaches Ben about the value of friendship and the true meaning of Christmas.
